Biography
The High Crusade is a 5 piece band from the surrounding Detroit, Michigan area. While influenced by late 70's punk and rock & roll, The High Crusade is not a revival band - they still sound modern and fresh which has allowed them to reach fans of all ages. Formed in November of 2008, the members of the band discovered their knack for writing catchy and original songs while comfortably combining a sound reminiscent to the pop of the Kinks and the Rolling stones, the riffy guitars of Led Zeppelin, and the energy and grit of the Stooges.
Guitarist Petey Williams, bassist Chris Sabin, and vocalist Alex Shelley have already built a fan base all over the world from their weekly appearance on a television show on Spike TV that gets approximately 2 million viewers. Drummer Adam Tatro and guitarist Chris Plumb are also known for other music projects including the heavy rock band Idol and the Whip. With Adam owning and operating a professional recording studio, and Chris having a career in graphic design, each High Crusade member contributes to the band with their diverse backgrounds and professional experience.
