In an effort to break away from traditional Jazz forms, drummer Julian Külpmann and guitarist Charis Karantzas founded their new Berlin-based band, K-Square. The music written exclusively by the two young composers combines fresh grooves and creative improvisations with riff-based Singer-songwriter/Rock music.
The special atmopshere of K-Square's repertoire is enriched through the use of innovative, complex grooves, electronic sounds and mostly through the creative power and precision of the band members.
