From Albany New York, The Kamikaze Hearts are Bob Buckley, Nathan Giordano, Matthew Loiacono, Troy Pohl, and Gaven Richard. Through a diverse array of instruments–such as the usual guitars, bass, and banjo, as well as accordions, keyboards, bowed upright bass, and mandolin–The Kamikaze Hearts offer listeners a fresh approach to the acoustic indie-folk style. Their lyrics, laid over driving melodies, are intelligent and nostalgic, both drawing from and adding to the repertoire of American folk poetry and memory.
