This was written by drummer Paul Garred together with frontman Luke Pritchard. The song is about the drummer's father who died when Garred was 18. Pritchard told The Sun April 4, 2008: "The first time we got back and played it I was in tears, I couldn't handle it. Because I lost my dad when I was a kid, we shared that loss. It's an important record."
