The Locus Scene, are a four-piece rock band from Sydney, NSW, Australia, who burst onto the music scene after winning the national MusicOz Award for Best Rock Artist in 2004. The Locus Scene formed in early 2003, headed by Troy Thompson & Luis Rojas (Shanghai, The Red Room, The Merkins, Mechanical Black, View Park), and draw on a diversity of musical influences to create a mixture of rock, pop, orchestral, electronic & ethnic sounds, along with 3 part vocal harmonies.
