The Lonesome Heroes are based in Austin, Texas and describe their sound as "Cosmic American." Originally formed as a duo in 2006, the band is currently a five-piece with a sound inspired by the works of Gram Parsons, Beck and Wilco. Their sophomore album Can't Stand Still was released in January of 2015.
