Biography
Salillo-based trio The Luppes was founded in 2017 by a couple of high school friends who wanted to express themselves through music.
The current lineup consists of 3 members: Cristian Tavera, Jesús Niño and Jesús Saucedo.
As individuals, the trio's members were deeply influenced by a lot of different bands of current and past generations. Most notable: Talking Heads, John Frusciante, Slint, black midi, The Beatles and Interpol.
The band's first single and video for "york" was released in late July 2021.
