Biography
The Megaband is the killer combination of Eskimo and Void. Taking on a whole new style of music, fusing indie/punk rock with cutting edge, stylish electronica, this is no normal collaboration between two artists. This is high energy, in-your-face and all about creating something fresh. Forget what you've heard before about Eskimo and Void and prepare yourself for The Megaband.
Aside from the band, John, age 22 (UK) also performs as his solo act "Eskimo" while Tamir & Oren, age 28 (Israel) also like to go by the name of "Void". Two of the most established, high in demand projects in the trance scene, heading events holding up to 30,000 people, every weekend around the world. After achieving more than they could have ever imagined as Eskimo and Void they felt they wanted to dig deeper into what was sonically possible and what they were really made of.
The boys hooked up in the studio in the summer of 2006 after realizing that they viewed music in the same light and came out with the one of the scenes biggest and most influential hits "MTV". The song featured the Motorola theme "Hello Moto" and was the most requested and most played track though out 2007 and turned hundreds of thousands of heads onto their new found style.
It was clear right from the start that the trio were destined to work together and push the limitations of everything they have ever made before. So they did just that. Since the release of "MTV" the band have been working extremely hard promoting their new style and perspective of electronic music and have been heavily influenced by the likes of The Prodigy, The Sex Pistols, Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, Justice and the electro/dance scene. Their non compromise attitude does not end at the studio, it carries all the ways to the high energy on-stage show and the culture behind the music they produce.
Here we see worlds of music collide and prove that nothing is impossible. The Megaband are not "on their way" to creating another turning point in electronic music, they are already doing it.
