Biography
Mick Pini is a fine blues guitarist from Leicester, England. One of his first bands was called Ned Ludd, and the drummer was Romeo Challenger, later of Showaddywaddy…Leicester boys as well… after a lifetime working and playing the blues, Mick now lives in Germany. He continues to gig, as a solo artist, as a duo, and with his band…often working with younger musicians who gain enormously from gigging with such an experienced musician. He also has some stalwart regulars who worked with him…including keyboard player Julian Credenza Blue, and bassist Roger Innis currently, Pini is Playing with Chris Zeitner on Drums, Greg Witner on Keyboards and Al Morris on Bass Guitar

Mick's fiery style and mature voice make every gig an exciting and spine-chilling experience, and his humor genuine warmth, and love for his music and his audience shine through. Eric Clapton suggested that Mick was a worthy 'successor to Peter Green'…but there are many more influences and styles in Mick's playing. Luther Allison, for example, is a clear influence on some of Mick's numbers. Mick Pini is one of the greats, committed, and a total believer in the blues.
