Biography
The Modern Condition first burst onto Sydney's live scene at the the very beginning of 2006. With a tight, energetic set that walks the line between the melodic and the incendiary, The Modern Condition have been tearing up the stage at The Annandale, The Cat & Fiddle, Bondi Pavillion and Spectrum.
Formed in early 2005, the young 5-piece combine their progressive and indie leanings with a twinge of the best emo has to offer - resulting in a furious blend that incorporates stuttering almost-metal riffery, punkish intensity and etheral ambience. The band recorded a 3-song demo in February '06 which includes the tracks Fidelia (Who Do You Trust?), Break The Circle and Two Steps.
With a growing arsenal of material and powerful live chops, The Modern Condition plan to build on their growing fan base by gigging regularly through the year, with a view to doing some further recording in the summer.
