Biography
In 2012 ‘The Monro Crush’ was no more than an acoustic guitar, pencil, notepad and many cups of strong tea, until early 2015 when they threw a match on the kindle and put together EP ‘Rock Through a Club Window’
Inspired by the power of rock and the energy of electronic dance beats, they fused them together to create a sound that had long been in Adam’s imagination, since his days in the critically acclaimed rock band ‘Hollywood Ending’ of Mighty Atom Records. Not to be confused with the American group that now uses the same name.
Recruiting Melissa Cudworth, who had previously been persuing her acting career in London, to take over the position of lead vocalist, galvanized the sound to complete the package.
They have currently established a distribution deal with all major music stores and are in the process of planning a handful of live shows that are tipped to be ‘theatrical and explosive”.
