I can relate to this song a lot. Seriously, it seems like every single word during the verses describe me.

It takes me back when I heard the Moods played it live at the 'Old' Ampitheater back in Chicago way back when before they knocked it down. We were melancholy back then, but not down right disgusted and despaired as we are today.

Never heard this version. Hearing anything "new" from that period in the Moody Blues' history (1967 - 1972) is very special for me - so I loved this despite the muffled quality of the sound.

Sorry to say but another extremely poor version of a great song. 'Off the top of my head I think that this is originally form 'On the Threshold of a Dream'. Anyway anyone who likes it should definitely check out the original studio version.

Starfloka, I agree completely. Their studio sound is almost as close to perfect as is possible and as good as the live versions are, they leave me wanting more.

I used to think this song was really depressing, but now I can't listen to it without smiling and feeling a lot better. It's very beautiful.

I fell in love with this song at first hearing. It makes me feel like I'm at a funeral ceremony, it's a kind of song anyone may want to be played at his/her funeral.
