Biography
The Nad Band formed in the early 80's in Eureka, California. With experimental/progressive rock recordings from as early as 1983, The Nad Band played local shows with their classmate Mike Patton's band Mr. Bungle through on to college. Never straying too far from Northern California and carried on by founder David Thorwaldson, they stuck mostly to home recordings and self-produced albums. While most recent albums are made more-or-less for pure enjoyment, albums are still passed around through friends, family and anyone interested at little-to-no cost.
