The Natural started in Chicago, IL after the dissolution of a previous band, Here Comes the Neighborhood. While HCTN was a myriad of powerpop and pop-punk influences, The Natural took on a more mature view of music with their still pop-oriented but better crafted indie rock.
Made up by guitarists/vocalists Joe Olson and Dustin Eck, keyboardist/vocalist Stephen Schmuldt, bassist Will Garza, and drummer/vocalist Will Wisniewski, these boys have proven that it doesn't take technical mayhem or guttural growls to make it in the scene. To the Natural, beautiful riffs, passionate lyrics, and honest songwriting will do.
