Biography
Deeply rooted in both punk and early hardcore, The New Threat, also known as TNT, has burst onto the florida punk/hardcore scene with a take no prisoners approach. Formerly known as Ten New Toes, the band changed their name in early 2005 along with adding a second guitarist. In 2003, TNT was awarded with the best new punk act at the Orlando Punk and Ska awards and since has shared the stage with various national acts such as Authority Zero, The Adolescents, Murphys Law, Left Alone, Roger Miret and the Disasters, Street Dogs, Folly, River City Rebels, 25 ta Life, Vietnom-DMS, Brain Failure (china), Against All Authority, Whole Wheat Bread, OPM, The Business, Billy Club Sandwich, and others. TNT is most known for its intense live shows, often with fans storming the stage to sing along with their anthem style punk. 2006 started with "Thats Entertainment Magazine" selecting TNT as the BEST PUNK ACT! For the future, TNT will continue to push forward with its DIY approach and is planning their first full length release in late 2006.
