The Phonerings started existing in 2004 when hardcore punk band Cernobilske Jagode changed its name (with only one voice against!) due to the new songs being slower and more melodic. Since the very beginning, our band was a music document of our lives and friendships. First off, The Phonerings were consisted of Boris who played drums, Taske and Aca on guitars, Dule on bass and Ognjen who was singing. After a while, Shuki started playing guitar instead of Aca, and we made a garage demo of our song “Oranges”, which had small, but positive feedback.
Later on, Goxi replaced Boris on drums and Dule and Ogi switched places. First couple of tunes we have recorded during summer 2006 with help of mighty punk producer and great guy Pedericco Rashiid, on his ranch in Pejicevi Salashi. Right after the recording, Shuki went to college abroad, and after some time our dear friend Kobac started playing with us.
Today, The Phonerings are consisted of: Taske & Aca - guitars, Dule - vocals, bass and Goxi - drums.
Our first release, split CD with friends from Novi Sad, Shoplifters, entitled "Reach the coast" is out.
