Biography
There are two tribute bands going by the name "The Pink Floyd Experience". One is based in San Diego, California and the other in New Zealand. Both are touring in 2013.
The San Diego based outfit is headed by Tom Quinn. The band hit the stage in April 1995, and went on to garner many San Diego Music Awards from 1999 to 2003.

"Annerin Productions has endeavored to bring fans the show they never thought they’d see. They searched the continent for committed and talented musicians who could really do it justice. This was a project that was not going to happen if it could not be done right.
The vision was not to produce a stadium show. In fact, in an effort to create the true Pink Floyd experience it would be just the opposite. Two key factors were at the core of the plan;
• Keep it intimate. Put the legendary combination of music, sound and lights in a theatre atmosphere.
• Ensure the sensual attack of Floyd. Give it top a priority along with the music.
They nailed it. They found the band, the lights and the sound to create THE show for the ultimate Floyd fan, and it’s called…The Pink Floyd Experience."

The Internationally Acclaimed Rock Spectacular!
THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE is exactly what it says, an experience. Everything about this concert, from the spectacular light show and crystal-clear sound to the soaring guitar solos, is inspired by a deep respect for the music of Pink Floyd. Both the musicianship and the attention to detail of this nine piece band are astonishing.
Critics and audiences around the world have been unanimous in their praise for this extraordinary concert performance. Australia’s Adelaide Advertiser is a perfect example… “Rather than simply attempt to recreate the bands music, which it does with sheer brilliance, this New Zealand-based show takes it to the next level in terms of staging, imagination and theatrics”.
THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE has constantly evolved over a period of ten years. Starting off as a “one-off” the surprising success of that first performance encouraged the band to not only persevere, but keep developing the show into what is now a world class rock presentation. With a band of nine excellent musicians, huge custom-made sound and lighting gear, sets, and video imagery, this multi-million dollar show now consists of a touring party of 27 people and 20 tonnes of state of the art equipment.
Echoing everything that made Pink Floyd one of rock and roll’s greatest icons, THE PINK FLOYD EXPERIENCE is a celebration of the music, the themes and the innovation that this great band brought to music fans around the world. If you’ve never seen Pink Floyd live this is as close as you’ll ever get!
