Biography
The Red Orchestra started as an exercise in songwriting without boundaries. There was no band and no specific instruments meaning that each song was able to develop without restriction. Needless to say, the early material was eclectic in the extreme, but after some months a clear and discernible sound began to present itself.
As soon as tracks like “The Hard Way” began to arrive the direction of the first album, The Seasonal Distribution Of Love In The City, became clear - tasteful electronica with old skool guitars and big vocals. The album – written, recorded and mixed at home – will be available in the summer of 2009 to coincide with the arrival of the live incarnation, which sees TRO move from 2-man bedroom project to 6-piece live electro banquet.
The Red Orchestra is Karl Sadowski and Tim Rowkins.
