The Red Roosters are the Rock and roll / Blues band from Osijek, Croatia The band was founded in 2004 and it was clear from the start that they're not just another r'n'r band. Pure enthusiasm and energy on the stage is what attracts and captivates the audience, whether the band performs covers of cult r'n'r tunes or their signature songs.
The Red Roosters are Ljudevit Laušin, Josip Horvat, Matija Nikolin and Alen Valinčić.
The band started performing in their hometown Osijek and nearby, but their first performance in Zagreb was the breaking point and The Red Roosters started to gain nationwide recognition.
Music they play is energetic and captivating and right from the start the band was focused on performing their signature songs. Despise many advices from different managers and record companies, The Red Roosters never backed down and countinued to write their songs in English only.
Persistance paid off and the band performed all over Croatia and their songs were played by many radio and TV stations.
In 2009 the band was annonunced as the most promising new band, an award given every year by Mega muzika and HGU.
Spring of 2010 was when the band got their first opportunity outside Croatia, when they were offered to play in a club in London. Club's manager heard their songs online and invited them to perform.
After three gigs in London, the band continued to play all across Croatia delivering great shows in club Bogaloo in Zagreb, Sugar Cube in Županja and Santa Magdalena Blues Festival. 2013 the band returned to London for the tryouts for Supajam.
Their Song Send her back was included on the OSA Media online compilation Indie United vol.2, which supports and promotes young, fresh and promising bands from the region.
