Biography
There are at least two bands named The Remington:
1. A folk rock/indie-rock band from Italy. Has released one 7" EP titled "Untitled N.2" on Tre Accordi Records in 2011, and one full-length CD on Electric Spaghetti titled "Italian Market" in 2014.
2. An emo/indie-rock outfit from Detroit, Michigan formed in 1997. Members would go on to projects such as Thunderbirds Are Now!, Red Shirt Brigade, and The Pop Project. Before dissolving around 2000, they released a self-titled CD EP in 1998 (simply known as Remington at the time of release) on Deco Recordings International (possibly a one-off label intended for self-releasing the EP), a split 7" with Long Island band Last Days of August on Eudora Records in 1999, and a compilation track titled "I'm A Violent Person (In Theory) featured on the "Reveal The Character" compilation CD put out by Elkion Records in 2000.
