1) The Rescue was a Rock Band from Iserlohn, Germany. They released the album "Fashion Lies" in 1989.

2) The Rescue was an 80s New Wave band which released one self-titled EP in 1984. The EP was produced by Tony Mansfield. The line-up consisted of Michael Gross (guitar, sax), Bobby Siems (drums), Vincent Piazza (keyboards), Tim McGeary (bass, vocals) and Paul McGovern (guitar, lead vocals).
3) The Rescue was an attempt to combine mixed influences of pop-punk and "metalcore" into one band. Done well before such acts as Hawthorne Heights and A Day To Remember and would probably appeal to fans of said bands. The group disbanded after a few years and members went on to form new bands in all various genres (Disarming Arctica, Swallow The Ocean, and The World We Knew).
4) The Rescue is a folk/noise-pop artist from England, UK. This artist debuted with the single "the rescue" on March 3rd, 2020 through Bandcamp.
