The Rough Kutz have been delivering high quality ska music since 1994.the first album entitled' a bit o rough 'was released on skanky lil records in 1997. in 2002 a second album 'welcome to our world' was also released on skanky lil records. in 2006 a third album 'another week another war' was released also on the skanky lil label.this album featured roddy radiation from the specials on guest guitar for a couple of tracks. the specials guitarist also went on a short european tour with the roughkutz,in the same year. in 2010 the band released their fourth album 'gangsters playground 'this was released on r.k. records. in 2012 the band recorded the specials song 'rude boys outa jail' for an album of specials cover tracks entitled 'specialized' it was released on specials2 records,in support of the teenage cancer trust charity,and the band performed at the cd launch gig in coventry,again with roddy radiation joining the band for a couple of live songs,the band continue to perform live and play their own brand of two tone inspired ska music
