Since 2002, THE ROYAL DEAD (previously +Phantasmagoria+) have emerged as a leading force in the Japanese goth/darkwave scene, through both their music and their organisation/promotion of live events. Combining commercial dance beats with stunning visual presentation, THE ROYAL DEAD are "Japanese visual kei / gothic" band.
