Biography
The Rugs are a indie garage rock band originally formed in Springfield, MO in 2005. The band's core members are comprised of a writing and recording team with members Matthew Darkly and Eric Schuchmann.
They've had 2 releases, the first was a self titled record released in 2006 released on Borrowed Records. The second record "Vacuum" was released in 2008 on Borrowed Records. The Rugs are now on Moodring Records and preparing a new live album and live DVD performance.
The Rugs live band includes Lou Whitney and D. Clinton Thompson from The Skeletons and The Morells. Richie Rebuth, Donnie Kraft, and a cast of alternate members.
