Biography
The Safari was formed in mid 2003. Exploration of post punk is the basic deal of the band. A Certain Ratio, Public Image Limited, Gang of Four were their mainly influences. And the movement of mutant disco and no wave also giving essence to the band outcomes. With members: Vocalist Edo Wallad who is a former journalist and active in some letter community, and still active in writing poets, articles, and stories, Guitarist Norman Ahya is a graphic designer and do the job for the artwork and other art related, Bassist Denny Priawan is the orator for the band to face some of the street punk audience who sometimes can be hostile.
