Biography
There have been two bands by the name Samsara Project.
One is rock band founded in the late 90s by Lance Page, his roommate and one of his co-workers at SSI/Mindscape (a videogame editor). They started some music writing and experiments, and where then given the opportunity to compose Final Liberation's soundtrack in 1997.
It has been their only known release. They disbanded in 2000.

The second is a progressive/funk/metal band from the San Jose area of California. It began as a small project by Jordan Schwarz and Tom "Tre" Retter of NVS in 2005. Later, Mark Cherry would bring bass to the mix, and the previously metal sound began to incorporate elements of jazz, pop, and funk. As of 2008 they changed their name to Inner Orbit Machine.
