The Screaming Santas is a "side-project" rock band from Little Rock, Arkansas, that formed in 2001.
All of their music is Christmas-oriented, and the band only does shows during the Christmas holiday season. Their music follows the style of late-80's glam metal.
The music is comprised of both original songs, as well as re-worded versions of traditional Christmas songs.
Popular songs include:
"12 Days", which tells the humorous story of an 80's glam metal band's rise and fall in the manner of "The 12 Days of Christmas".
"Holly Jolly Anarchy", a punked up version of "Holly Jolly Christmas", in the style of Sex Pistols.
The band has been on hiatus since their last shows in 2004. All members are busy with other projects and work. Members Erik and Ty in particular are busy with their other band, Bombay Black.
