Biography
The Seamus could be categorized as alternative-experimental rock, with influences from classic rock of the 70's and touches of contemporary new proposals. The band formed in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2003.
The Seamus consist of: Octavio Zarate (guitar and vocals), Paco Aguayo (guitar and vocals), Juan Aldama (bass and keyboards) and Jorge Aguilar (drums), with the support of Oscar Borrego (visual).
The most important influence on their music have bands like The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Radiohead. The Seamus find their inspiration in the irony of everyday situations. Mixed happiness, melancholy, acid, various feelings, "We would like people to feel 'up' and then, down", "We want every piece sounds really up for it another and not repeat formulas."
