Biography
With a dark, new take on post-punk, The Sentinels formed in Chicago in 2009. Comprised of 4 Windy City rock-scene veterans (Liz Ele – vocals; Reg Shrader – guitar; Melissa Urbanski – bass; Zebulun Barnow – drums), The Sentinels have been making a name for themselves as one of the loudest rock bands in the city, delivering a tight, energetic show.
Floating sonically where PJ Harvey meets The Fall, The Sentinels combine the best of their influences, seamlessly meshing rock, punk, and new wave peppered with metal.
The band entered the studio in the fall of 2010 to record their first full-length, Music Of The Pleistocene (Imperious Rex Records), to be released May 2011.
