1) The Shooters was an American five-piece country music band founded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 1986. The band comprised Walt Aldridge (lead vocals, guitar), Gary Baker (bass guitar), Barry Billings (guitar), Chalmers Davis (keyboards), and Michael Dillon ([drums). The band charted several times on the US Billboard country charts between 1986 and 1989, when they split.

The site suggested that J.R. had a new band: Radio-TX in Dallas, but the weblink to that band was broken.
