I've listened to this a fair few times and it just isn't sticking for me. It sounds great - both the composition and production are great and very interesting on the ear, but unfortunately it doesn't make me feel much of anything. Some great songs on the album, but I haven't enjoyed listening to it as a complete package as much as I'd hoped. The beginning of the album is a bit of a slog for me, but Speech Bubbles, Thin Thing, and Open The Floodgates, are my highlights of the album for sure and I enjoy the latter half of the album more than the first.

i used to not like it too, gave it a chance so many times, but only today did i fully understand how good it is man. the fact that you enjoy the first half less than the second is crazy to me, the production on the first half is ethereal. maybe give it a try again? just listen to the instruments in the back man !!!!

Not a bad song on it. The consistency is unreal. Not many artists remain relevant and creative 30 years into their career.

The Opposite, Thin Thing, and We Don't Know What Tomorrow Brings are masterpieces. Thanks so much The Smile!

I actually feel like this is the Radiohead album that would have been had it not been for the pandemic. On the other hand, I think some of the songs were inspired by the loneliness and fucked up state of the world during the pandemic, so they might have never existed otherwise.
