Biography
The original members of the Sons of Harmiony formed the group in the summer of 1999, while still in drug & alcohol rehabilitation in their home town of Baltimore, Md. The group became well known for their "acapella" singing style and their song selections are greatly influeneced by artist such as The DixieHummingbirds, The Souulstirres, The HighwayQC's and the like. Thier members include, Deacon Judson Kerr, Deacon Levi Moore, Bro.Delroy Smith and Minister Phil Morgan.
In 2007, the group was awarded the Fred Newsome Award for "best Acapella Group of the Year" followed by the recording of their Debut Gospl CD "Working On A Building". Which is set for an October 6, 2009 release by Tate Publishing.
They have performed with the likes of The Original Fantastic Violinaires, The Singing Disciples, and the Gospel Keynotes.
