The Steals is a psychedelic / folk band hailing from Leeds, Northern England, United Kingdom.
The band's lineup consists of: Jayn Hanna (Darkher) (vocals, guitar), Mark Peters (guitar), Daniel Land (bass), Christopher Smith (drums) and John Hogg (guitar).
The debut release of the band was the 2006 critically acclaimed EP Floodlights. Their first full-length album Static Kingdom was released in 2009.
