Biography
1) The Sunshines was a South Africa band, founded in 1993 by Skye Wilson and Gregory John Schoeman, aka [artistTanya Blue and Greg Luke, respectively. They formed in 1993 after moving to Johannesburg from Cape Town and a year later recorded their first album with Lloyd Ross at Shifty Studios. Originally called Green, between 1993 and 1997, The Sunshines played several major SA music festivals, gigging countrywide sharing the stage with the likes of The Springbok Nude Girls, Lithium, Dolly Rockers, Urban Creep, The Usual and Wonderboom. Their tracks, “Wanna Make Love”; “Happy Person” and “Judy” received well deserved airplay. They released 'Removeable Tattoos' in 1996.
The Sunshines are: Tanya Blue (bass vocals) Greg Luke (guitars) and Russel Weston (drums)
