Biography
After having been together for over a year, things are really starting to heat up for the SweetWater with the release of their new TALL GLASS EP. More and more listeners are finding that Adam, Zack, James, and Richard bring more to the table than just ridiculously-good looks and amazing musicianship. On their newest release, the band's sound ranges from heavy, full-out rock (Get Free) to Motown-influenced ballads (Sweet Perfume). As one of the few current bands to effectively incorporate a rock n' roll saxophone, the band effortlessly walks a fine line between over-indulgence and rock-fundamentals. To top that off, the SweetWater aren't merely some studio-creation; catch them live, and you'll find that they maximize the audience-experience by creating an auditory-intimacy with their listeners: the band bleeds a brand of soul on stage that spans the spacious vagaries of the human condition…think, "country punk-rock with a saxophone"…or something comparable to that. Actually, there is nothing comparable…its a sound all its own.
