2.The 'Trap were to be found in and around E8, East London.
But it all started in a sleazy club night in Sheffield. A showdown of rock bitches, lipstick lesbians and weeping mascara as a Bold Street connection brought the two together. A marriage of literature and a meetings of minds, souls and bodies: Kate and Sophie met in University in the Capital of New Yorkshire. They bonded over punk, grunge and old school riot grrrl, yet danced the night away to drum and bass every Tuesday. Music was never made during this period. After a couple of years away their paths crossed again in this country's capital. Murpho who just appeared as if from nowhere. Bobby fell from the sky one day, in a cloud of chemicals and pianos. Since then, the trap has been evolving its sound with the help of his synths and bulky equipment…
Kate Franklin is leading riff expert and all round rockin lead guitarist. Formerly of Liverpool band Little Missanthropist, Sophie Wilson is the lead singer, lyricist and rhythm guitarist. Murpho, also formerly of Little Missanthropist, provides bass and beer. Robert Matthew Cann plays keyboards.
