From the wrong side of the tracks & heading one way - down and dirty. The Voronas are all about reckless abandon, bohemian hedonism, unapologetic disgrace and songs with monsters, hot men and wild animals. Fusing gypsy-esque riffs with rockabilly, jazz, swing and anything else they care to sling into the pot. With lyrics that seldom have one meaning - apart from something lascivious and racy of course…
Hailing from Southend on Sea (Essex England), The Voronas sound like they don't belong to no particular place and no particular timeframe - they just do the voodoo that they do. Best taken with a pinch of salt (and a shot of Mezcal n lime), The Voronas preach nothing apart from the art of sinful behaviour with no regrets. Dancing to their jive is also recommended, especially dancing like no-one's watching!
