The Water is an instrumental indie rock duo from Baltimore, Maryland consisting of Dan Cohan and James Klink.
The Water is also a one man band consisting of Chase David Evans (former guitarst/vocalist/pianist of Glasgow Drive) and he is currently based in Portland, Oregon. He plays mostly indie lo-fi acoustic music with the occasional parts reflecting ambience, minimalism and other similar genres.
Although The Water is usually a one man band, Chase is sometimes accompanied by close friends such as Bijan Sharifi, Tanner Turner, Cameron Alston (all from Glasgow Drive) as well as many others.
