Biography
There are at least four different artists called The Wilderness.
1.) The Wilderness (Trnava/Slovakia) is a DIY HC/punk band. In their lyrics, they focus on the political, religious and socio-critical topics, philosophical and moral dilemmas, conflicts of subjective vision of the world and objective reality.
2). The Wilderness is a six piece indie/folk rock fusion band from Kingston Ontario. Emerging from a diverse set of musical backgrounds, they bring a precise and powerful combination of guitar, saxophone, synth, and heartfelt vocal harmonies to a shared experience that evokes a sense of community, camaraderie, and forward momentum.
3.) Salt Lake City, Utah based Post Rock/Post Metal band The Wilderness was previously known as "The Meadows." They released an EP, Everything Is Golden in 2009 on the Sound VS Silence Label.
4.) The Wilderness is a solo project by John Johnson, formerly the singer for Vroom. He released one album, I Am the Song of the Drunkards, under this name in 2005.
