"The Woman You Saw Is the Great City that Rules over the Kings of the Earth, or The Great City for short, are a six piece Melodic Hardcore band from Melbourne. As one can infer from their biblically-derived name, the band possesses a post-rock sense of ambition and grandeur that parallels bands such as The World Is a Beautiful Place. However, in place of whiny Midwest emo, Great City play a dark, cosmopolitan, urbane version of Post-Hardcore music that juxtaposes aggression and intensity with poise and elegance." (Pilar)
