Biography

The Wonderland Avenue is an Austin, TX, USA based blues, psychedelica-rock band. Formed in 2004, the lineup consists of drummer Aric Garcia, contributing keyboardist Gerardo Larios, guitarist and primary vocalist Isaac Routh, lead guitarist and vocalist Michael Roy Kelley. Bass duties began for Brian Munoz, who replaced founding bass player Ross Fife in 2009. The group stopped performing together in 2010 . Drummer Aric Garcia and guitarist/ vocalist Isaac Routh went on to form The Warplanes.

The Wonderland Avenue performed primarily in Austin venues. Intermittent local performances in 2010 included legendary blues club Antone's, The Parish, Beauty Bar and Ruta Maya Coffee in South Austin. The Wonderland Avenue shared bills with fellow Texan band Toadies at Northgate Music Festival in College Station, TX in 2008 and with Houston indie rock band The Goods at Houston venues Notsuoh and The Mink.

During the 2008 Music Conference (), held annually in Austin, TX, The Wonderland Avenue played 5 shows.

During the summer of 2009 The Wonderland Avenue embarked on a short southern U.S. tour that took the band to four Texas cities (Houston, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso). Shows at HangArt in Tucson, TriP Bar in Los Angeles and The Soda Bar (San Diego) completed the California-leg of the InizioTour.
