Having started in their freshman year of high school, The Zealots' organic sound has evolved over the course of four years into a marriage between roots-influenced folk and electrically-driven rock and roll that permeates their first official release, "Time Is Always Too Short". The collaboration between multiple songwriters and two vocalists brings a unique diversity to the sound. Each member of The Zealots plays a variety of instruments, enabling them to experiment with different musical styles and arrangements. Their energetic nature sets them apart from the throng of typical awkwardly dull indie bands. Characterized by their intricate and compelling vocal harmonies, The Zealots abandon the wasteland of autotune and mainstream pop that symbolizes 'popular' music today.
