Biography

These Silhouettes was a post-hardcore band from Cobourg, Ontario, Canada.

These Silhouettes hail from Cobourg, Ontario. Forming in September of 2005, these five guys would spend endless hours in James Fox's basement cracking out tunes and working on perfecting their art. Spreading fast through Myspace and Ipods alike, These Silhouettes have shared the stage with such bands as: Alexisonfire, Protest The Hero, Yellowcard, Bless The fall, Ill Scarlett, Down With Webster, Lights, Greeley Estates, Bayside and many more excellent bands. After much anticipation in 2007 These Silhouettes signed to Underground Operations in Canada (Stereos, Protest The Hero, Lights) and released their debut EP "The Thomas EP". Following that they recorded a 10 song album which drew to much inner turmoil within the band and was never released and the band split in early 2008. Stuart, Coady, and James stuck it out to go on to play shows with new members but that experience was short lived and ended late 2008. In 2011, it was announced that Stuart Aiken and Coady McCormack would continue on as a full band based out of Toronto. Coady and Stuart went on and did a Canadian acoustic tour, and reformed only to find it wasn't the same without the original members. Now in 2010, the boys have went on to different things. Coady plays in a band called "The Go Time" James in "Eleven Alone" and Stuart in "When We Stole The World"
