This Dying Hour formed after the end of various bands, to create a hybrid of talented musicians gathering interest in and around the Bucks county. Brandishing a 6 piece line up with strong memorable songs, This Dying Hour set out to produce a new form of metal to the maturing UK scene drawing on various influences from different genres. With three guitarists in the force, This Dying Hour are equipped to produce live music only dreamed of and create an atmosphere only explainable after seeing one of their explosive live shows.

Starting their musical career with their "Pray For The Moment" demo, This Dying Hour broke into the local metal scene with pride demonstrating their technical musicianship and song writing abilities. They played as main support to Exit Ten on their debut show and since then have supported a number of the best bands from the UK music scene and Europe (including Nato, Malefice, Her Words Kill, Decimate, OutCryFire, The End of Six Thousand Years & State Of Serenity) in a spread of Cities throughout the UK.

Following the success of their first demo, combined with the ever growing amount of fans this band are gathering, during the Easter of 2007 This Dying Hour headed into Philia Studios to record "The Longest Memory From The Shortest Life" EP, produced by Nick Hemingway (Penknife Lovelife, ISOR, Fony, Desecration) to be available at all good music retailers and digital stores.
