Biography
After studying jazz at the academy with Nathalie Loriers and Fabien Degryse, Thomas Champagne went on to the Dutch speaking Conservatory in Brussels. There, he worked with Jeroen Van Herzeele during three years and then changed to the French speaking Conservatory where he has recently completed his training with Steve Houben.
He has also trained with Pierre Vaiana, Bart Defoort, Garrett List and Bo Van Der Werf. Apart from his trio, which is his main project, he has played in many different bands of different styles (Modern Jazz, Bossa Nova, Tango,…)
