Biography
Coming out of New York City / New Jersey meet TIJON and his GT Apache label. In a crowded pool of up-and-coming stars, TIJON’s unique and gripping sound stands alone. With clever rhyme schemes and a soulful delivery TIJON’s music has been influenced from many of the greats before him such as Bob Dylan, Sam Cooke, Tupac, Nirvana, Nas, and Elvis to name a few. The impact shows in his artistic diversity every time his music comes through the speakers.
The GT Apache
The name of TIJON’s band of Apache is not just a label it’s a brotherhood and mentality. The GT Apache are responsible for all of TIJON’s work from music production to recording and video production. The GT Apache have made their presence felt in the music industry producing music and music videos for many well-known artists. “The simple idea that we were handed nothing and are willing to give everything we possibly have to leave a mark on this world and our generation is the common denominator that brought us all together and made us all APACHE’s… the last of a dying breed.” TIJON’s words spoken about his team or better yet his movement exude extreme confidence and a winning mindset.
The Buzz
In his short time in the music industry Tijon has released a series of original mixtapes, and has had his music videos featured on A-List hip-hop websites. With a rapidly growing fan base reaching all 50 states and over 300 countries abroad his music has been widely accepted and well received with views and downloads tallying well over one million. In the past year TIJON has appeared at legendary venues such as Webster Hall, Toad’s Place, and Croc Rock Live. Other features and favorable reviews with iTunes, XXL Magazine, Pigeons&Planes, GoodMusicAllDay, BroBible, and BallerStatus.com also back the TIJON buzz.
The Live Show
Tijon has captivated audiences up and down the east coast with his live show, spanning from New York City all the way down to Miami, FL. In his quickly building tour history, Tijon has been able to share the stage with a wide variety of established artists such as Jcole, Fabolous, Big KRIT, Schoolboy Q, Nicki Minaj, and Jim Jones. TIJON says of his live show, “It doesn’t matter if they know me before I go on stage, they will remember me when I get off of it.”
