“Needs” is the second official single of Tinashe’s tenth project BB/ANG3L.
The song was initially teased by the singer on August 7, 2023 via her TikTok account, and later officially announced with a pre-save link attached on social media on August 10, revealing the release date and the cover artwork.
In the week previous to the release, the singer has also been teasing the release of a music video with behind the scenes pics and rehearsals dance videos via Instagram.
Eventually, the song was dropped on August 18, 2023 along with the official music video.
