I agree with a lot of the other posts that it's not as much of an absolute emotional masterpiece as their other stuff but that doesn't mean it's a bad album. quite frankly I think it's pretty great. I'd rather have them mix it up sound wise rather than have an attempted monitor part 2. it sounds like an album the band wanted to do and that's all I can really ask from them. if it wasn't then oh well, I still like it

I always hear this album being compared to 'The Monitor', but I think that the two albums are too dissimilar in style to be compared. If 'The Monitor' is "Saving Private Ryan", then this album is "Jaws". Both made by the same artist/director, but you're going to watch and enjoy them for different reasons. When viewed from this perspective, I believe that this album is in every way "The Monitor's" equal.

Not quite as good musically as The Monitor, but every bit as good lyrically. [2] I'm actually diggin' the Replacements-influenced sound. It's more raw and a better representation of their live sound. Definitely not my favorite Titus release, but a solid one nonetheless.

I kind of really didn't like the album upon first listening, but I can tell that it's starting to grown on me. I was hoping that they'd go in a more noisy/experimental direction (a la Airing of Grievances), but I can live with this.
