Biography

To Kill The King was a post-hardcore/melodic hardcore band from Vernon Township, New Jersey, United States which started out in the summer of 2005.

After making several demo songs they finally released an EP called "The Time Still Ticks" that was released at a show on August 12th 2006. It contains 5 tracks plus a secret hidden track. After several more demo tracks released the band played an Epic beyond proportions farewell show on January 13th 2007.

The band then split to do a few side projects, known as My Aim Is True and We Still have Paris.

Finally after being on a year long hiatus, TKTK has a new song on their Myspace entitled "Dark Greetings, Empty Meanings". It is the first song to be heard from their latest CD "Long Live."

On November 9th, 2008 the band posted a blog on their Myspace that states that they are done with recording the full length album and it is to be mixed by Steve Evetts (Every Time I Die, Our Last Night, Story Of The Year) and will contain 12 songs. Name: 'I Am Not The Answer' and was set to be released in 2009.

Members of To Kill The King have gone on to pursue new musical projects such as JUST and armywives.
