Biography
Tom born in Bolton but now resident in Cornwall is a singer songwriter, musician. His style is acoustic folk/blues. His influences include: Woody Guthrie, Leadbelly, Dock Boggs, Robert Johnson, Kelly Joe Phelps, Rory McLeod, Nick Drake, Skip James, Gwyn Ashton, Bob Dylan, Tommy Mc Clennan, Bert Jansch, Mance Lipscombe, Charlie Patton, Son House, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Odetta, The Carter Family, and Mississippi John Hurt.
Tom is a prolific songwriter and his musicianship is stunning. Playing in the pubs and clubs of Cornwall he can also be found practicing is art busking to the crowds of St.Ives and Penzance. He has a street-worn command of rack harmonica, finger-style, lap and slide guitar, he is an experienced and unique performer who tips a respectful hat to the roots of traditional music.
